Essendon and Carlton 38 apiece at the end of three pointless quarters.
Gold Coast and Freo are 50 apiece after three quarters. |

Gold Coast beat Freo, 10.4 to 8.3.
Carlton also "won". By a point. Each team tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, right at the end. When it mattered, Carlton were just one point less useless than Essendon. |

At halftime, the Lions lead the Crows 7.10.52 to 2.0.12.
It is fair to say that the Crows' 2 scoring shots flatter them. |

Wow. Not yet an upset brewing, but the Crows have made the score respectable.
Early in Q4, Lions 63-39 Crows...
but the Lions have just kicked another to stretch it back to 30 points. |
