Trolling again mate - you can’t help yourself

Definite troll, sticks out like dogs balls, if he lost ten bucks then found a fifty dollar note, he would still bloody whinge. Unreal. Confused

Great and gutsy win, team effort, just kept pressure right on them, from go to whoa. I think its time we shut down that ludicrous and inane, Trade De Goey thread after that game, hes a star of the first magnitude, won us the game, a stellar effort.!

Lies

Selwood is finished. They looked a bit less useless without him because Wills didn’t have a witch’s hat to run past in the second half.

THE Cats really are Dads Army now, rely on their old guys so much, far too much. Razz

That seems to have been Geelong's lowest score since round 22 of 2001. Fine effort by the defence on the back of last week's Clarkson-era lowest score by Hawthorn.

I don't mind losing if we put the effort in, against the Bombers we were shit as fk!
We know we can't win every week but put in a solid effort at least, that's all we ask!

That match is infamous for Milburn knocking out Silvagni cold.

great 4 quarter effort to take the points. Grundy's tap to Crisp.coming off half back a highlight for mine and pointing a way for the future. throw wild cards like that and banging it forward we have seen more this week and last into the centre mix to wrest the clearance advantage back. much better than tapping the ball to his feet. great team effort

Imagine we had the wherewithal to try that move in the 2018 GF after Sheed’s goal!

Utterly fantastic win. So hard to choose the 5 best because that was totally a fantastic team effort. The team defence is utterly brilliant. But congratulations as well to the coaches. The selection and coaching over the last 2 games has been amazing. The selection of Noble to replace Cox, and the astonishing, ever changing midfield and forward 50 combinations that we are creating are bamboozling the opposition in a way that we haven't seen before this year. I thought the game against Hawthorn was a masterclass in coaching, but suspected that it was a one off stroke of genius. Tonight was just as good. Every player in our team made a contribution tonight. Tackling was ferocious. Ball movement was scintillating.
I am so happy with this performance.

One thing is certain after re watching the game on replay. My goodness gracious me our F50 entries need to be better, cleaner, and more thought out. So many rushed kicked when running free outside 50. If only we had 12 Pendlebury’s to survey the situation and make the right (easy) call for a certain shot at goal. Too many stab passes to NO ONE’S advantage, no extras second hold of the ball to hit up a second or third lead opportunity. Nope. Just get, go and blaze. So demoralising some of our brain fade kicks to one’s advantage.

Great game, solid win but close enough to be on the edge of your seat. Really enjoyed watching that

Sensible to leave Cox out given the rain, not sure why we didn't do that a coupe of weeks ago too.

Good to see some of the people who were bagging De Goey, Mihocek, Treloar et al have pulled their heads in, hope they remember the last 2 weeks next time they're not on fire

Wasn't Hawthorn by 10 goals your last prediction?

A mighty fine win against a team who’s form line was good
Can’t believe the lack of love for Treloar’s game
34 touches 18 contested 11 clearances 5 tackles 683m gained 6 inside 50’s in poor conditions
That’s a seriously good game
He is also the only player to have 3 30+ touches in a game this season
He consistently pushed the ball forwarded and his running in support of team mates was awesome

People questioned preseason if you defence would still be good with the departure of our defensive coach
Well it’s gone to another level
Roughhead Moore Maynard Crisp are a strong unit and combine very well
It’s a good mix and they are versatile on who they can play on
Don’t underestimate the leadership Crisp is having down back he’s really grown as a player and his left boot is sensational

It’s hard to name just 5 good players tonight thought you could easily name 10 and not be wrong

Interesting sight at the end of the game when they showed Pendles talking to Dangerfield in the background you see Adams and around him he has IQ AB Diacos Brown Stephenson and he’s talking and pointing the finger around vigorously. You could see he was happy to win but reinforcing some points
Adams leadership on this group is undeniable he’s the pseudo captain and the captain in waiting for sure
West Coast will be a challenge next week they stack up well against us if we get the points there I think we finish top 4 easy and can plan our finals campaign a fair way out

100% They have some superstars in that side but they were blowing hard last night against a much younger and faster side.

Pies at last put in a 4 qtr effort and finished strongly. It’s great to win a game in style rather than crawling over the finishing line but a win is a win.

JDG masterclass. Undefendable. Treloar had a picnic and what can you say about Pendlebury? He’s a fairly good player I’d say ...

Not sure it’s beeb said but players recently down showed big improvement
WHE a good one as was Crisp —-that flexibility I spoke of with the playing of Jordy close to goals

The move of Crispy on the ball late was good

But what was important was the cohesive team effort

Eliminate the Adams dropped marks in the middle and we flog em.
Team D and pressure like we've never seen before. The willingness to win the footy and go forward was awesome.
So many good players.
Well done army. They reckon it was like a home game for the pies.

8 goals to 5 is ok, not awful in season covid20 but I would prefer 11 to 8, just that ability to score more freely even if you give up a few more just feels more balanced. Anyway, a win is a win, we put those handbags back on the rack and sent their bleeder to the bench...did anyone see that showpony Dangerfield tonight? Did he play? Wink

Dangerfield picked up 32 touches, second most on the ground and he and Ablett almost single-handedly dragged the Cats over the line.

The low scoring is a problem. It meant we are never comfortably ahead, and last night, umpiring had the biggest impact on the game. Umpires never let the Cats get a sniff in the last quarter.

If we were down 8 points at 3/4 time, and then proceeded to get the next 10 free kicks paid against us, we'd be filthy and accusing the AFL of cheating and demand Eddie do something.

Umpires had more influence than any player on the ground.
