A match of two halves. Got the 4 points, not too many injured.

All matches are of two halves.

Would love to know the kick to handball ratio in 1st half vs the 2nd half.

It seemed to me as if we took a kick first approach after half time.

Crispy made a huge difference to the forward entries and set up the win. I wonder if he took it upon himself to do that or it was a special instruction from Buck's (you know, the one who can't coach Rolling Eyes )

As others have said it was important just to get the four points in the punishing schedule the A.F..L has given us.I’m just glad we weren’t the first team to lose to Adelaide. That would have been hard to live down.

Losing tonight might have broken me for 2020; I'm hanging in there as it is...

Please keep hanging in Piedsy... you make me laugh constantly. And, given our current situation, I need to laugh.

Collingwood actually kicked 9 out the 10 goals scored between the 15 minute mark of the second quarter and the 12 minute mark of the last quarter.

Yep, Crisp was awesome in the 2nd half, pretty much won back the game singlehanded

We were fortunate to be playing Adelaide tonight, imagine if it was Port Adelaide, we'd have been 10 goals down at half time. Very glad to get out of Moronville with the 4 points and maybe a bit of confidence but not much more. Kicking straight was key to the win and Adelaide missing more than their share also helped. They had more shots and should have been 4 or 5 goals up at the main break. Guys, we got away with this one, but if we deliver that against the Dees they will cut us up no doubt.

Who is due back? Anyone important?

I skipped the game thread this week as I haven't enjoyed the last few.

But imagine having to listen to Mark Riccuito all game long? Sheesh.

Everyone in Australia was going for the Crows tonight. Not that its really much different to any other week, but you could really feel it tonight.

We did what we needed to do. We ran over them in the second half with a weaker squad. A lot of people getting upset because we're not 10 goals in front at quarter time.

So, i guess those posters, i wont call them pea hearts, thats kinda rude, who ran this side into the ground in first half, ridiculed, mocked, spewed at, said pretty bad things bout the club and coach, will now come here now, fawning over and extolling what a great win it was. Unreal.

ALL i will say, it was a great win, guts, by a second string team, down to bare bones, very low on soldiers. It was only the Crows, but they were out to get us tonight, on their own mad pissing ground, and we beat em, won well in the end. Pretty gutsy effort, id rather win ugly than lose beautifully. Take it and run, we got four points, move on, im pretty satisfied now, gutsy effort, really in the end.

You've said all I wanted to Piesnchess, especially the bit about the gutsy effort!, Thanks Wink

YES - I particularly liked the first bit!

THIRD!

Anyway, as it stands, just 0.6% behind Richmond (in a year where percentage seemingly once didn’t count for us ... hahaha, amazing right?).

4-day break vs the 6-day Melbourne break doesn’t bode well, but Melbourne are junk. If we somehow manage to defeat Melbourne, we get a 10 day break before North and, pending Cunnington’s fitness, could set ourselves up for a bizarre finals campaign.

It isn't right, though. It can't be necessary to give the opposition extra days to recover, week after week and make us fly across the country and back and across again in such a short space of games. I think that, match-fitness wise, the 'pies are barely hanging in there.

But why are you even imagining this???
You should really ask: Imagine what would happen if PA played us, with Pendles, WHE, Adz, IQ, Moore in the team? Then your question, could at least be objectively balanced.
