I like Cox and I don’t think we know how to play him. Another club could get five goals a game out of him every week. Just look at today, when we went forward we often stopped and looked backwards straight away. No confidence to move the ball quickly when Cox was out front, or one on one. By the time we got the ball there he had several opposition players on him just hitting his hips and easily putting him off balance. To Cox’s credit, he did het the ball to ground often — but we have no crumbers to monopolise that. Imagine a Leon Davis at Cox’s feet.

Cameron takes contested marks that Cox doesn’t. So he’s ahead of Cox. But Cox has that x-factor and we know he can turn it on. We don’t know if Cameron has that X factor.

So you think Cox is a 100 goal a year forward??

You need to ease off the substances.

Cox USED to have one trick. A big mark 30 metres out and goal. Now that is gone. Goodbye. Clubs who may be seduced by him include:

* Carlton
* Essendon
* Bulldogs
* Giants
* Swans
* Tigers
* Gold Coast

Either way the $600,000 avg contract he has had since 2018-2021 would have been far better served elsewhere despite the odd good game. Thanks for the service but time to go.

If Cox could kick 5 a game if only we kicked it to him properly then Cameron would kick 10 and Billy probably 20.

I’d love to transport Cox into the 2010-11 team, wouldn’t think he would be much better….

Don’t know how he would have fared in the 70’s either. How many of the Barry Price bullet like stab passes and daisy cutters would he have held on to?

What didn’t they see last game with Lynch winning his share and Darcy the prominent forward

Have a look powers that be.

That's what shits me. Dropping lynch and bringing Cox in.

Harvey = Buckley V2.0; clueless at selection table each week.

Harsh bro piedys. Need to give him a bit more time to shine if he can.

Hardly harsh. Played 3 Ruckman - no idea. Has been assistant coach since 2012 and what's he delivered?

He is in a classic “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation. When you get done by just over a goal, his selections nearly paid off. I agreed with the selections because we needed height against Freo. In your first game as a coach during mid season, you try to keep the team stable and then make performance based decisions. My thinking is that because we cannot play finals, the time is right to pick youngsters and see how they go because they are the future. List decisions need to be based more on skills and current performances rather than solely on potential. So let Harvey do it his way and you can agree to disagree with him.

Harvey is part of the problem, not part of the solution

Anyway, will be gone soon

Nobody has this century, and probably never will. Buddy came close in 2008 though

Cox isn't fit to stud his boots. And that's not insulting Cox. The idea that he could kick 5 a week is just ludicrous

Despite the debacle trade period last year, at least with Darcy Cameron we won that trade with Sydney.
