This is good, another step towards another coach! That said, he has enough excuses! Anyone seen master and commander? The young officer who thinks he is bad luck, and all the shipmates did as well, grabs a bowling ball and jumps off the ship. Then their luck changes. Bucks might be that guy. Let him go and our luck will change. Mark my words.

Look there are enough excuses for our performance but they are the same ones year in year out.

Our list needs a decent clean out and we need to get rid of the good blokes that are past their best. This list is not deep enough to challenge. Hopefully we can beat the Blues to draw level H2H and see Pendles break the games record against Port. Other than that not much to look forward to for 2020.

Fair play to Melbourne, they demolished us and have improved. That's three consecutive 50+ point wins for them.

The writing has been on the wall for us since the West Coast game. The players look down on confidence and most supporters acknowledge that a clean out of some sort needs to occur at season's end.

Didn't help that we only had a four-day turnaround, but a 10-goal loss in this format of the game is unacceptable.

On the injury front, I hope Checkers is okay after a brutal collision.
