Chelsea knocked over a somewhat lacklustre Manchester City 1:0 this morning to make it to yet another FA Cup Final (4 of the last 5). Strange goal-keeping, by the way, but, then, that's English soccer for you.

No, time to win another one, though.

Hi P4S,

Could you amend the title of the thread to: FA Cup 2021 Final: Chelsea v Leicester City and include a poll asking who wins the match.

Cheers,
Jezza

So, should we feel better about being beaten by a goal like that?

Happy Birthday, by the way.

^ Thanks, P4S.

It wasn't to be. Don't want to use VAR or a potential handball as an excuse for our loss.

Even though I'm disappointed, I'm happy for Leicester. They're a good club that is well run and built themselves up into a solid football team. It's their first FA Cup final triumph.

^ That's a very good, balanced response, Jezza. I actually wasn't talking about the possible handball - I meant the strike itself, which was amazing. It reminded me of Roberto Di Matteo's magnificent goal in the '97 final. Hard to believe that's almost a quarter of a century ago, now.

Anyway, plenty of Cup success for Chelsea in the last 25 years. It hurts when your team loses - but not nearly as much when you know they've won others recently.
