I think it's safe to say I did not believe in either the Crows or Dockers causing upsets!
Almost time to retract my comment - see how we go Monday |

This.
It has been a problem for a very long time but has been especially bad in the past few years. We desperately need a forward line coach that can develop and implement structures like JL did for our back line. Until this happens we will be at the mercy of luck on the day. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't. |

Need to win at all cost
Play the best team available
Remember Clinton Young in 2014
"Clinton Young missed a golden chance to put the Magpies in front late when he dropped a simple chest mark 30 metres out with just two minutes left to play."
The Suns played most of the final quarter with no-one on the bench but held on for a gutsy 11.14 (80) to 10.15 (75) victory in front of a Metricon Stadium record crowd of 24,032 _________________ Sydney Pie |

We don't need a forward line coach. We need a forward line unless the forward line coach wants to don a pair of football shoes and help out the team. |

Yes, I remembered this at the moment Mihocek did the same thing against Brisbane, with the same result. |

Fair to say many didn't but we would likely still have been in 8th and in control of our destiny, unless Melbourne belted Freo by, say, 55 points _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

Weird that Gold Coast still have one game to go until they play us, whereas the Brisbane match already feels like ancient history. I guess we can't really complain about recovery time this time around. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

We have a 10 day break and they have 5, so no _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

As much as percentage is irrelevant, I would love for us to win a game playing decent footy with a confidence boosting win. |

We haven't had a nice 8-10 goal win in ages. Would love to see a massive goal-fest just to get our team up to scratch again. _________________ Smoking shadows behind the mirrors - Travis Cloke |

I think 2019 is a better indicator of their potential, not sure I would use 2020 as a yardstick of anything
Durability is also a factor which is why I ranked the players by output not averages. It's no good averaging 5 goals a game if you miss half the season (Joe Daniher says Hi) |
I'll also add that Checkers does one thing better than most of the others - he makes the people around him better.
He's been gold for us. _________________ We shall set our course by the stars and not ships that pass in the night |

I'm watching the Suns play the Lions tonight. If we can't beat this rabble we don't deserve to be in the finals. They're awful. _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

Absolutely. Just pathetic. I'm amazed Brisbane aren't beating them by more, because Gold Coast have been Adelaide-like (as they were before last fortnight, at any rate). _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
