Absolutely. Just pathetic. I'm amazed Brisbane aren't beating them by more, because Gold Coast have been Adelaide-like (as they were before last fortnight, at any rate).

The brions are all smiles and just going through the motions now. They put the cue in the rack ages ago. That being said, the suns are substandard.

I'm watching the Suns play the Lions tonight. If we can't beat this rabble we don't deserve to be in the finals. They're awful.

We have no option but to win. The suns are in a pitiful state and must be dealt with accordingly. We can't afford to piss around like we normally do with cute fancy sh!t. Just put them to the sword early and get the job done.

Speaking of sub standard, it’s a pity the eagles are fielding a sub standard team against the saints. If we beat the suns as we should and the eagles were to beat the saints, our chance to play finals is all but guaranteed.
The possibility of the saints now winning, will only add another nervous week to our fate.
This is what happens when you don’t do enough to control your own destiny with a couple more rounds still to play out.
Happy days !

I cannot recall the last time we really belted a side, by say, ten goals, must be last season, for sure. Just once, this covid virus season, i wish we could smash these GC Beachboys, just poleaxe them, we need to do this asap, now.

I think 2019 is a better indicator of their potential, not sure I would use 2020 as a yardstick of anything

Durability is also a factor which is why I ranked the players by output not averages. It's no good averaging 5 goals a game if you miss half the season (Joe Daniher says Hi)

I'll also add that Checkers does one thing better than most of the others - he makes the people around him better.
He's been gold for us.

Agree absolutely. checkers is an absolute legend. His conduct on the field, his strength and his calm demeanour set an example that others respect. He is an absolute gem. He is, I think, a candidate for a leadership position in our team.

The Rd 1 defeat of Bullflogs was pretty close to 10 goals, 51 pts iirc, we've slipped along way since then

Same, but at the end of the day he is a complimentary piece to support our flair players.

But I think Taylor Walker could be an upgrade, on either Cox or Mihocek

People may disagree, doesn't change the fact that Walker is A grade whereas Mihocek and Cox are not

The only key position player who could be A grade for us is Moore.

I was suprised Scharenberg never got a crack at FF or CHF

As a another change when Treloar comes in

I'm thinking he could replace Thomas in the fwd line, don't think I can see Treloar running threw midfield at top speed ever again which is a huge worry

Objectively, if there's any debate here it says a lot about Pies supporters' unrealistic expectations.

Tex Baulker is 30 and having arguably the worst season of his career, albeit in a team that is struggling. I personally would not swap him for Mihocek, who isn't afraid to put his head over the ball

Grundy

You would be lucky to get more than 30 goals from Grundy if he moved fwd full-time

And he is still only 3 goals behind Mihocek with 2 less games played, in 'his worst season' which should be replaced with 'Adelaide's worst season'. Walker was good for over 40 goals in 2019

Also not an injured player, coming to Collingwood could re-spark him into a 50+ goal guy for a season or 2

Maybe, but ol' tex ain't gonna help us beat the suns this week whereas Mihocek will.
