Mihocek is a better player than 'timid' Tex Walker.
Checkers has been slowly finding his feet again after being badly knocked out just a few weeks ago. Many who have never been concussed don't understand that bad knocks to the head can take a long time for a person to fully recover. Some are left with ever so slight, but nevertheless, permanent effects. Without doubt Mihocek is our toughest player and our hardest working forward. He helps us score more goals than he kicks himself. |

I'm thinking he could replace Thomas in the fwd line, don't think I can see Treloar running threw midfield at top speed ever again which is a huge worry |
Unless you can provide evidence for this statement, I disagree. If he is fully fit (and I can’t see why he wouldn’t be when he is ready to play) he could continue to be damaging. Plenty of players have returned from injuries and played like they used to. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Chad Rintuil (sp?) never recovered from bad concussion related headaches. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Yes concussion.
It is a curse i tell you.
If it was up to me I would give any player who even got a touch of concussion at least 4 weeks.
My father played a number of seasons in the VFL and he was fearless according to a lot people.
Got concussion numerous times.
I knew as a kid that there was something wrong with him
He died of dementia relatively young.
No death certificate said it was related to concussion.
But I believe it probably had a lot to do with it. |

Well I haven't seen Treloar streaming threw midfield like a jet to be honest since the big injury against Carlton in 2018. Have you?
Everything seems to be a rushed kick these days and it also seems to the keen eye that he has no trust in his legs at top speed anymore.
I'd be keen to see a clip of Treloar 'breaking the lines' at top speed post 2018 injury. I can't recall him ever doing that... |

Heard on the radio that JDG is a good chance to play, which would certainly be a boost to our chances. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Mcglovin did his hammy! Not sure of the severity though. 4-6 weeks is the usual time for recovery. |

Does anyone here want Jesse Hogan, and i still think Ben Brown might be available. ? Is Mihocheck really better than them, ? that spilt mark he did against Brisvegas, may have cost us that game, really.
<Could we please try to stay vaguely on topic? This is the pre-game thread for the Suns game. People who would like to speculate about replacing our present players with "upgrades" can do so, here:

Your not interested in our younger guys getting some finals experience?
Even if we are just making up numbers - surely this is valuable going forward? _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds
