Grundy is playing through whatever, I believe he has at least niggles , beams is getting paid a ridiculous amount To do weird paintings. Worse he effects our salary cap. Any other business he would be on social security benefits , I don’t get why we still have to pay him, and I don’t get how anyone could draw their pay under the circumstances , it’s morally wrong. |
I imagine that if you get a doctors certificate that states you are unfit to work either physically or mentally then you are entitled to your pay.
A player still gets paid if they do an acl and you are out for a year or so. I imagine it is no difference for a mental condition. |

I have not problem with the AFL paying him as he is one of their employees, but please, just don't add it to our salary cap. |

Imagine the rorting of the system if they allowed that.
Buddy would suddenly have mental issues to continue to be paid and be off Sydney's books.
If that was the case, we could attract players with huge back ended contracts knowing we could put them on the mental list and get out of paying them.
Sign up Jeremy Cameron to a contract of $100,000 for the next 4 years and then $1.1m in year 5, 6, 7 and 8. |

Only if it’s work related, then it’s worker’s compensation, if it’s not work related you go to Centrelink
Either way he has a new career and clearly has no intention of playing again so he should do the right thing by us as we have to him. I find it disgusting he rubs our noses in it _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Monday AFL gave no direction to clubs on list size going fwd and may not till after GF
Two clubs who have not offered nu contract to ( 10 Essendon & 11 North) so using that as a yardstick we already have official retirees who decided they didn’t want one —Reid / Dunn / Varcoe
So hypothetically if we go that way what 7 or 8 don’t get offered a contract _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Keep:
Pendles
Grundy
Adams
Howe
Moore
Maynard
Rough head (i dont know why we re signed him though)
Daicos
Tyler Brown
IQ
Kelly
Atu
Borderline: Stevo and sidebottom
Get rid of the rest simple we do have some trade bait which helps. In turn for much needed draft picks. The other rest delist or retire.
Out: Coaching staff harvey and sando are useless (but bucks will stay because of eddie)and the likes of Derik Hind and Ned Guy need to move on.
Need to get proper medical fitness staff too.
I would like to see Noel Judkins back at Collingwood good judge of talent and he knows how to get deals done.
Its simple Collingwood need a much needed clean out and we simply we are a swamp that needs to be drained out. |

So, you propose keeping between 12 and 14 players and getting rid of the rest?
That's farcical. |

But Buckley takes the field as player-coach, so there's one. Perhaps we can do the same with all of our coaching |
