The following players are going to have surgery over the off season. The bulk or all of the team will be back in melbourne by this weekend. The surgery will be starting soon too.

Grundy (was playing injured right through 2020 its his shoulder and hip he is getting a minor operation)
Pendles (having an annual clean up on his groin and knees again like grundy was playing under an injury cloud through out 2020)
Howe (further clean up on his knees)
Kelly (clean up)
Elliott (his hamstring has flared up again maybe need a trip to see dr hans in munich germany)
i must say moore has i feel finally had a good year and his hammy didnt go twang again
there maybe a few more.

Langdon (knee) has hung up the boots.

Its an easy equation for the pies:

clean out the dead wood and bring in the youth.

Have an effective draft and trade period for once.

Do the needed changes or spend the next 10 years like the last 10.

Has Langdon officially retired? I haven't seen anything.

Any word of Beams?

Annual cleanout of the groin and knees....sounds delightful

And I think you forgot to list a long line of vasectomies'...at least for anyone who wants a game next year!

Will Anton be performing them?

Hope his surgical skills have improved.

Collingwood has bid farewell to midfielder Tim Broomhead and defender Matthew Scharenberg, who will not be offered contracts for 2021.

I have t heard or seen anything official on Langdon but had heard he left the hub when we went to WA
Have heard he’s been told no contract for 2021 is on offer but he wants to be rookie listed but club isn’t in position to know if this is possible as no one yet know list sizes or rookie list spots yet
Apparently he’s reluctant to retire which I get but in all honesty. I hope he does as his knee obviously hasn’t improved anywhere to be able to fully train let alone play 18 months after injury

Still nothing. And nothing from the OP about where this info has come from.

Should be red carded if this is made up.

I think Langdon was training in the final week and when the main group was in Perth. The club posted pictures of him. It'll be interesting when the news comes through if he's getting another chance or not.

If he wants to continue his footy career he needs to go back to the suburban leagues next year and prove he is fit to play week after week.
He may then get picked up the following year.

Agree. Threads like this should be deleted given they purport to be fact based.
