To me this is the most important part of Gale's vision. When you play exciting attacking football, it thrills your players as well as your supporters. While I've been a fan of Bucks, imo he needs to change his approach, so that we no longer just aim to grind out wins. We already have (for now) some exciting players like de Goey, WHE, Elliott, Stephenson and Daicos, who would benefit greatly from being let off the leash. Do it Bucks. Just do it.

This century the Tigers have played off in 3 GF’s for 3 flags.

We are 5 GF’s for 1 flag.

Even the dogs played off once for 1 flag.

Truth is we make GF’s but I am never confident we can win.

At least we’re not Carlton, no Gf’s this century, no prelims for 20 years and 5 wooden spoons. Unfortunately if they make it again in my lifetime they will take their opportunities like Richmond.

After the Tim Watson debacle, the media declared that no club would ever again hire a senior coach without proper coaching experience.

Doing it isn't even good for the coach. It just destroys his coaching career.

TBH most clubs would be planning for future success which includes flags. If any club doesn’t have a 5-10 year strategy that would be surprising. I’m not fussed either how they are achieved, Geelong and Hawthorn weren’t overly physical and intimidating in that way but they got the job done. Also, Sydney stuck to their boring brand and it netted them 2 flags. We have to start with fitness and conditioning. We could have competed for more flags these last 10 years with a healthy list. Even 2018 could have been won with fitter players (Treloar, Howe rushed back) Our injury list year on year has been deplorable. Must copy whatever Geelong, Tigers and Brisbane have done with fitness and personnel management. At the end of the day I’d rather be us than Essendon, Carlton, Melbourne, and so on. At least we regularly play finals and have a shot, which is harder to do in this equalisation era.

WE have to get to, and emulate bloody Richmond. Go back six yrs, they were laughing stock, Dimma was under massive pressure, North melb had just bundled them out in straight sets in Finals, fans burning memberships in Microwave ovens, the Board under siege by a rival Board, that wanted to take over the Club. But, Tiger stuck with Dimma, Gale and this Peggy woman stuck fat, united, the Tiggers did some canny recruiting, they already had a young Riewoltd and Dusty, Cotchin, etc, and they built on that. They basically re thought their entire game plan, streamlined the club, appointed top medical and fitness folks. Now they have a dynasty, 3 flags, had it not been for us, theyd have equallled our 4 in a row record. Somehow, we have to get to where Richmond are ,we have shown we can, at our best, match it with them in games, we beat em last yr, and got a draw this year, we are not too far off them, but we need to take some extra steps to get to their level of excellence, wont be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.

and we're going to continue to be trash until we fix the underlying fundamental problems we have at the club.

Supporting Collingwood is the same as being a Victorian right now.

We are being asked to be just a little bit more patient.

While the other states are moving forward, we're stuck in iso and being told to wait just a tad longer, with the results always coming.

Just like how certain teams are moving forward, we're stuck with limited options to freshen up the list, and are having to be patient waiting for results.

But if things dont change soon, people are going to go mad.

My top 6 Reasons:

1. Too many contractual mercenaries: Peter Moore, Darcy Moore, JDG, Brodie Grundy etc...

2. Poor list management

3. Too many tattoos

4. Not enough solid citizens to create cultural change

5. No No dick head policy

6. No consequences or fear for breaches

Players worried about themselves rather than the team

Well done Maxy - you've done a sterling job growing your Super balance using member funds.

Half our list delisted then and most of our Board.

We are too happy making excuses for players.

Do you really want to know what a dynasty looks like.
See Melbourne Storm
Greatest run footy Club in the whole of Australia ever!!!!!
Makes Collingwood look like a hack group.
Their record stacks up year after year.
And another premiership tonight.
Well done best club in Australia by far.

Wonder how u would go as a Saints fan, ONE flag since the 1870s. Think about that for a moment. AND the Deees, no flag in 56 years. Razz
