Welcome Reef. Haven't seen a lot of you but what I have seen is your sure hands and a great turn of speed. A nice set of skills to have to light up a packed MCG and get the Collingwood army on their feet.

After injury and covid restrictions derailed his 2021 season, Reef McInnes finally makes his debut this week.

Congratulations and good luck, young man.

so many seasoned Nicks track watchers have been raving about this kid for a very long time (including my father). For this reason alone, i am excited to see him play (i don't even know what he looks like).

Yep, and I'm one of them. But it's important everyone realises this is his first game so expectations need to be kept in check. Fingers crossed he adapts to the pace and does some good things tomorrow night.

It sounds like he's got all the attributes to be a beauty. Another exciting prospect. Congrats to the kid.

In what I'm sure was an attempted wind-up, one of my relos, not a Pies supporter, tried to tell me that Reef is a one sided player. I kept telling them I didn't believe it as I haven't heard anyone else mention it before.

Maradona was a one-side player, too. If the one side is good enough, it need not be an impediment.
