Nothing huge to worry about just yet. Thread will be upgraded throughout the year.

*Darcy Moore underwent finger surgery in the off-season and is working on an individual program. Will be available for selection at round 1.

*Callum Brown has had some tightness and has also been off the track. Keep an eye out for him on the track next week.

*Jeremy Howe is returning from his knee injury last season. The club is taking a cautious approach as he is on a modified program. Was close to returning in the finals, but will be available for round 1.

*Josh Daicos, Tyler Brown and Darcy Cameron have been on modified work.

*Will Kelly returned right before the Geelong final and was an emergency that night. He's one to watch for selection in round 1.

*Adams had a wrist complaint to end the season and is back to full fitness now.

* Brayden Sier, Trey Ruscoe and Nathan Murphy finishes 2020 with a few small niggles, but have all recovered and currently enjoying a full pre-season.

*Steele Sidebottom missed the end of last season due to the birth of his child. He's another that's returned in good condition.

*Dayne Beams, Tom Phillips, Tom Langdon, Flynn Appleby and Ben Reid all finished 2020 on the injury list, but have all now departed the club.

Right now, we're probably in better nick that we have been in years. Lets hope it stays that way.

26 days until we play the Hawks in a practice match. And 53 days until we play the Dogs in round 1.

That tendon surgery to Mark Keane has him sidelined for from 1 to 2 months

So he can still train with restrictions and be up for March or early April

Quote:
The promising Magpie, who returned to training earlier this month after coming back to Australia from Ireland, underwent surgery over the weekend.

The club says he will be sidelined for one to two months, putting Keane’s hopes of a round one spot in jeopardy.

Collingwood’s dynamic star Jordan De Goey has a mild abdominal strain and will be off the track for a week. De Goey had scans after pulling up sore from an intraclub match on Monday. The scans have confirmed a mild strain and the club will reassess whether he returns to training next week.

Darcy Moore and Jeremy Howe are both on track for round 1 selection. Both are on a modified program. Josh Daicos, Tyler Brown and Darcy Cameron have also been on modified work, but are also in the frame for round 1.

Cal Brown returned from a slight tightness in his hamstring or calf and played in the intra-club hit out yesterday. Darcy Moore, Josh Daicos and Darcy Cameron who had all been on a modified return program also played in the hit out. Those 4 guys are now back to full training.

I am unsure on Tyler Brown. He was also on modified work, but I didnt see him in any of the training videos or photos shared by the club. Does anyone have anything on him?

Altho it seems Jeremy Howe did not take part in the hit out, he is on track to play in round one.

Here's where we are: (Unofficially)

De Goey - Abdominal Strain (Short term. Should return to full training within the next 7 days).

W Kelly - Calf. (Did not play in yesterdays hit out. Nothing being reported).

McInnes - Finger. (Had scans last week, but nothing has been reported). Did anyone see him at training?

Keane - Finger. (6-8 weeks).

Adams - Hamstring. (Minor strain. Racing the clock for round 1, which suggests a 3-4 week problem). “Only a small hiccup after a really strong training block. No stress here,” Adams tweeted.

Just waiting for some official word on McInnes and Kelly and although on track for round one, would like something on T Brown and Howe. Did anyone see these guys at training, or in the photos/video the club shared?

Not one of ours but I see that Sam Weideman will be out for up to 12 weeks. That'll be interesting for the Dees if Ben Brown doesn't come up. Maybe they'll be glad they held onto McDonald after all.
