If we were playing for a spot in the eight, reckon at least two would have manifested for sure!

Hmmm.... two from the previous round, then two soft tissue, or accidental collision injuries at thursday training is our normal modus operandi?

But now it’s time for someone stubbing their toe while going to the toilet or jamming their fingers while setting a mouse trap 😗

^^^Correct. We didnt activate our sub.

Unofficially:

TEST/1 WEEK:
Brayden Sier (ankle)

1 to 2 WEEKS:
Aiden Begg (shoulder)

SEASON:
Tyler Brown (shoulder)
Darcy Moore (knee)
Callum Brown (shoulder)
Scott Pendlebury (leg)

Sier should be a test for the coming week. I'm very doubtful he'll be at the club next year and will only play in the VFL if anything.

Begg is close to playing. Ash Johnson should be right to go once the VFL resumes. It'd be nice of those two got some VFL games under their belt and could help push us into VFL finals.

It Beggs the question, can you build a forward line without the appropriate bricks of Gault and if they crumble, is our Johnson exposed?

On Collingwood web site::

Josh Daicos cherry ripe to play against Brisbane—-after playing VFL scratch match Daicos is ready to return to AFL side

Ash Johnson if he gets thru training on Thursday could play his first VFL game this weekend

https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/998328/daicos-cherry-ripe-for-brisbane

After that from the club;

AVAILABLE:
Josh Daicos (finger)
Jordan Roughead (ankle)

TEST:
Ash Johnson (finger)
Brayden Sier (ankle)

1 WEEK:
Aiden Begg (shoulder)

SEASON:
Callum Brown (shoulder)
Tyler Brown (shoulder)
Darcy Moore (knee)
Scott Pendlebury (leg)

Sier and Johnson should be ok, but we'll have to wait until later in the week to see if they are passed fit. (Worth noting there is probably not going to be a VFL game again this week).

Begg is one week away which is something to be happy about. If the VFL season is pushed back, then we may see he and Johnson play a bit more than we were expecting.

The 4 guys who are out until next year, should be ok before the season starts which is 7 months away.

Just get through the final two games without any disasters please.

seven months until the next season starts. Such a long time between meaningful matches when you are out of the finals race far from home. That is a long to train your arse off - the young guys should be able to get a lot stronger before the next season starts

I'm hoping to see Wilson, Kelly, Poulter and 'Magic' Johnson train the house down over the pre-season and force their way into our best 22.

Joining Macrae, Ginnevan, McCreery, Bianco, Ruscoe and of course Nick Daicos, we should have a very young and exciting team next year.

R.B. Of all you have mentioned I have extreme belief from what I’ve seen so far at AFL level that McCreery / Poulter/ Ginnivan/McCrae & Bianco are the ones that have shown the most to me and all with different assets
Beau is a hard at it hit the contest type
Poulter a metre accumulator with run/depth kicking
Little Jack Ginny has X factor who still has tricks to show
McCrae is the silky smooth one by hand and foot
Bianco the player who has the nack of getting out into space

The others on your list are not far behind in worth tutoring
