One incident (Kelly) from our the AFL/VFL games.

Unofficially:
Quote:
TEST
Liam McMahon (Concussion)

1 WEEK/POSSIBLE TEST:
Jeremy Howe (hamstring).
Ash Johnson (finger).

TBC:
Will Kelly (quad)

UP TO 6 WEEKS/POSSIBLE SEASON:
Josh Daicos (finger)
Beau McCreery (hamstring).

SEASON:
Aiden Begg (shoulder).
Tyler Brown (shoulder).
Darcy Moore (knee).

Early news on Kelly seemed good, but until we see the official report, who knows. I doubt he'll play next week though.

Looking at a return in Round 20. Howe needs to pass necessary strength measurements and aerial testing. Since integrating to the main group he is progressing well.

Sadly, lots to report this week.

https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/982847/pies-hit-with-a-number-of-injuries

TEST:
Brody Mihocek (abdominal)
Will Hoskin-Elliott (back)

1 WEEK:
Will Kelly (quad)
Jeremy Howe (hamstring).

UP TO 2 WEEKS:
Josh Thomas (concussion)

UP TO 3 WEEKS:
Ash Johnson (finger).

UP TO 4 WEEKS:
Beau McCreery (hamstring).

UP TO 5 WEEKS:
Josh Daicos (finger)

SEASON:
Aiden Begg (shoulder). However, there's now a chance he plays VFL in the final couple rounds!!
Tyler Brown (shoulder).
Darcy Moore (knee).
Callum Brown (shoulder).

Kind of weird that both Brown brothers have done their shoulder and out until 2022.

Crap news on Ash Johnson who needs to re-repair his finger. Was so close to playing too.

Liam McMahon has recovered from his concussion and is ready to play again. Other than that the only other good news is Howe and Kelly should be available next week.

But the worst thing about three of the new injuries... (Cal Brown, Checkers, WHE) they all happened in pretty much the final minute of the game.

None of that surprises me.

Pendlebury suspected broken leg.
Just, wow.
A seemingly stock standard tackle from behind results in our captain suffering a season ending leg break. Only Collingwood.

Ok guys. Not a great lot of news coming through today.

We'll know a bit more by Monday/Tuesday for the others but this is the unofficial standing:

TBC:
Taylor Adams
Chris Mayne (ankle/foot)

TEST:
Will Hoskin-Elliott (back)
Will Kelly (quad)
Jeremy Howe (hamstring)

1 WEEK
Josh Thomas (concussion)

UP TO 2 WEEKS:
Ash Johnson (finger)

UP TO 3 WEEKS:
Beau McCreery (hamstring)

UP TO 4 WEEKS:
Josh Daicos (finger)
Aiden Begg (shoulder)

SEASON:
Tyler Brown (shoulder)
Darcy Moore (knee)
Callum Brown (shoulder)
Scott Pendlebury (leg)

Begg was listed as season, but is a slight chance to play some late VFL games. I doubt it, but we'll see. And with just 4 games left, I doubt we'll see Daicos or McCreery until next season either.

WHE, Kelly and Howe could be tested for the WCE game. We'll wait to hear if there's any news on Adams and see if Mayne is ok.

Still looking forward to seeing Johnson play in the VFL in a couple weeks.
