I was busy with work and couldn't follow any of it live. I just watched the English wickets and it has to be said that giving Ashwin the charge - and telegraphing it - would be a fairly stupid thing to do on a flat wicket but in these conditions it was positively bizarre.

This is probably going as well as Oz can hope for. The next Test is pink ball. If England can win that, and not win the last Test, then Oz are into the Test Championship Final against NZ.
