Craig Kelly (Buckley’s manager) has endorsed Geoff Brown as next president over Murphy and Korda
There appears to be a massive internal division on the board on which candidate gets the gig
Then Kelly fronts up and throws another hat in the ring a guy who’s a known Buckley fan
The politics surrounding this club is diabolical
I know Eddie had his faults but heck his skills right now in getting everyone to fall into line would be handy
We are long odds of attracting any high profile coach (if required) when the board are at loggerheads
This mess spills down hill and the coach and players would be very much aware of the divide |

It's not Kelly's call. His endorsement is irrelevant.
It's not the board's call either (though they will have to endorse the choice).

I don't think players care about this sort of thing.
e.g. Richmond players wouldn't care about their coach's alleged affair with a staffer... And that's a lot worse. (And their captain and his wife are close to the coach's ex-wife.) |

The longer this drags on, the more likely an EGM will be called and a vote will go to the members. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

What a novel idea. Letting the members decide who should run the club. Like Collingwood did in the first half of the twentieth century when we won all those Premierships. _________________ Born and raised in Black and White |

Yeah, have to say that sounds like an entirely desirable outcome. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I have a very long memory of continual failures from our present coach... what else would you like me to remember? _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

I think you'll find the divide at board level is pretty superficial. Easily mended. The real divide is the board v sour ex board members and their media proxies. |

Continual failures from our present coach???
In 2018 he did better than the failures of 16 other coaches.
In 2019 he did better than the failures of 14 other coaches.
In 2020 he did better than the failures of 13 other coaches.
We are all desperate for a flag, but let's not use Bucks as an easy scapegoat. The fact is we have not had a good enough list to win a Premiership for many years, yet Bucks has had us as contenders despite our lack of genuine talent. He is a great coach imo because he consistently get's the most out of our list. |

Just found this long form interview with Joffa talking about Eddie's departure and Harry and racism.
At the time of this post, this interview has had only 483 views since it was posted on YouTube in late February. Incredible, given the saturation media coverage on Eddie's departure.
And don’t laugh off the boy interviewer, this kid is good. So is Joffa.
