Cats leading 12-6.
Pies goal kicked by Miochek following a good one handed mark by newbie Henry.
Another goal to Cats from free kick - score 18-6 _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Our transition from backline to forward is rubbish. If we don't improve that fast then we're going to struggle this season. |

Howie looking good so far.
Cats making the most of the space on the Kardinia Park wings.
Pies had some forward entries but no one can take a mark.
Will be interesting to see how the Pies run this one out as Pies have squad of 26 , Cats squad of 31.
Missing for Pies today DeGoey, Adams, Mayne. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome

Looking way too slow and second to ball (many standing back on dispute balls). Even onballers playing defensive. _________________ It's a simple game. |

Emm the few times we have moved the ball forward there has been little to kick too, and when we do we're outnumbered... _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

I know it’s one quarter, but goodness gracious me. Looks like nothing has changed in terms of ball movement, forward line entries, and ‘grunt’. Geelong are bigger and tougher (again). _________________ Est. 2002 |

I don't think too much should read into this. It is still February and it is plain that the Collingwood players are not moving at full speed and aren't looking to run defensively. Presumably that's the training/fitness message - the game plan wouldn't be "never run flat out and don't chase the opposition". |

Our first game is in a few weeks and we only get a couple of hit outs. Every player should be going close to flat out to stake their claim after last year’s diabolical finals exit. _________________ Est. 2002 |
