I know one thing that hasnt changed. “ Football watchers “ who are prepared to write us off after the first qtr of a glorified match simulation hit out.
Yep, We really need to start winning those early match simulation games if we’re going to be any good in 2021 🙄🙄

How did Trey go today

From what I saw, Trey was very useful in the forward line, leading out for two marks and kicking truly!! If our human muscle ball in Billy is to spend considerable time in the mid-field again this year, Trey could snag a permanent spot as a smaller forward .

I believe that the gloom & doom cast over us in not 100% warranted—not based on today
Where we finish I’m not sure but media write us off at your peril

good to see the new fellas getting some of it. Adams would make a big difference.
Were there any injuries?

Cameron and Hawkins—who of our back six got them

Did we keep them quiet

Fox Football notes Henry played a good first up

I could only watch the game intermittently but from what I saw, I was impressed by Ruscoe, Bianco, Elliott, and even Josh Thomas. Our stars like Pendles, Grundy, Sidey etc all did as expected

This! That is the question I ask all my mates when they say they "support" a team.

Pretty sure Cameron played the first half only.

A very entertaining interview with Darcy after the game on the club website.

There were some good signs from a lot of players today.

Some were a little jittery, like Madgen, Bianco, Thomas, Darcy Moore, Murphy

Some showed patches like Quaynor, Daicos, T Brown, C Brown, D. Cameron, Ruscoe, Sidebottom, WHE, Maynard, Mihocek, Howe, Crisp, Greenwood

And some who shone while they were on, like Noble, Cox, Sier, Henry, Roughead (super steady), Elliot, Grundy

Then there was Pendles. Such an elite footballer.

Looking forward to a few more of the new boys next Fri. Especially Macrae and McCreery and hopefully JDG!! This is his turning point year. Like Dusty just after the chopsticks incident.

Some awesome ball use today. Especially Grundy chipping to a running Noble who hit Ruscoe or Elliott on the chest.

Henry could have a similar impact to what Rozee had for the Power. And maybe Macrae will be our Butters and Poulter/McInness our Duursma.

Keep your eye on Quaynor. SPECIAL!! And Sier did some nice work today. He'll be better with Adams out there with him.

GO WOODS!!
