Apologies for a bit of shameless self promotion, but I know most Nicksters still consider Vic Park our spiritual home.

Here is my latest Youtube clip for my song 'Grey Skies Over Collingwood', off my debut solo double album. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Oh well done!!!!
Took me back to my young days for sure, especially those last frames of the train pulling into Vic Park station. How many countless times did I get off at that train stop and walk across the footbridge, feeling the excitement and anticipation upon seeing the black and white adorn the turnstiles and the social club, with the black and white army gathering. Magic!!
Thanks RudeBoy!!!!! Wonderful memories and a great rendition of the song too!!

Thanks for sharing RB - thought it great and saved it to the playlist. Fabulous stuff. Nicks got talent.
I worked at the Playroom on the Gold Coast back in the day and always loved the live music.

Great stuff Rudey. You can hear an interview with Rudey on this morning’s 3RRR radio programme being interviewed by Brian Wise on his long standing Saturday morning programme “Off the Record” at about the 11 am mark ? 1/2 way through. Well done RB

Great clip Rudey, nice to see you've still got it. S'pose you never lose it once you've got it.

On a side note, I wonder if you've ever seen Spectrum's 1984 album cover, Red, Orange, Yellow, etc. The cover pic is taken in the Vic Park railway sidings with Vicky Park grandstand visible behind Bill Putt.

Great stuff. Remember fondly watching the Tennants live back in the day when I lived in Melbourne.

Would like to see you pen a song about Vic Park and the Pies. Then sing it as our pre-game song. No pressure...

Nice tune and well sung.. miss those days. How things have changed. Footy was simpler and more fun then. Whether playing or just being a fan.
