Why are people so interested in preserving Buckley's dignity? He didn't offer that to Treloar or Stevo. Stuff him. Let him face the sack like just about every coach who's every coached. Most coaches end up getting sacked. It's time he was too. |
Lol you might have had a point with Treloar (even though Buckley didn’t have all the say in that), but saying Buckley didn’t give Stevo any dignity... yeah nah, Stevo got what he deserved (and bloody lucky to still be playing, especially on megabucks). **** Stevo, I throw up every time I hear how poor little Jayden was hard done by and disrespected.
If the rumours are true, there’s a disconnect between players over Treloar making way for Grundy and JDG’s mega deals, and Grundy/Roughie allegedly “talking around corners” of not liking Buckley and the touchy feely stuff (which is what Grundy wanted when Buckley was only footy 24/7 and didn’t do the touchy feely stuff). We don’t have a champion team, we have a team of champions who aren’t on the same page. |
When you respond to rumours you’re just playing the game. What Stephenson does in his spare time is his business. Personally I don’t care if Stephenson isn’t a saint. All I care about is how good a footballer he is. We had all this discussion during the trade period and still people want to bring it up. |

I'm staggered the slack he is being cut. It has basically been established that he lied about treloar and now we have a rift in the team and are 1-6. As for the sacking of Buddha, didn't Buddha report to Bucks? He can't be exempt from that either, holding on to his under performing mates.
Are people really this blind? We need a brutally honest coach and we don't have one.

Absolutely and McGuire has a lot to answer for and if he loves the club, butt out as he is the reason where we are today - diminished!!!.
(Ed was challenged and rightly so on a Wednesday Footy Classified a few weeks back and the best he came up with - success is not only about winning premierships - WTF and still waiting for an apology).
And that's what also p12s's me off. Anyone, ANYONE other than the name Bucks would've gone atleast 5 years ago.
And the Media support for Bucks is nauseating - they love it at our expense.
Wake up Wright, Wake up Korda, Wake up Collingwood.

It is just amazing how little criticism he gets in the media.
Why doesn't any journalist ever challenge him on his abysmal record over 10 seasons? It's been a broken record for years on our slow ball movement, dysfunctional forward line etc but yet he's apparently still worth another contract extension. Incredible!
I'm convinced it's the anti Pie brigade that knows that as long as he's coaching Collingwood, we ain't threatening anyone.

Now McClure on FC with a breaking story of changes in our footy department over the next 1-2 weeks. Didn’t disclose any details as yet so it could be coaching or in recruitment. It certainly looks like it’s going to be an interesting time off the field.
