The 2021 version looks a lot like the 2020 version. Lots of over-possessing, handballs and turnovers

We look as clueless as ever going forward.

Signs don't look good early.

Some bad kicking early on.

Feel like we're trying to move the ball too quickly and we're not thinking. We do want faster ball movement, but we need to be smart about it too. Lots of handballing to a player under pressure or playing on when it's not clear.

Dont think Cal Brown at FF is going to work. Need to forget about that one. Like what Ive seen from IQ and JDG so far.

But again we dont seem to be kicking to a target in the forward line and we've gifted them 2 of their three goals so far.

Bit rusty and against the reigning premiers... so not sure what to expect. But I'm a little worried about out F50. Hope Kelly and Cox can get involved soon.

Madgen needs to do better than that. Bad kick giving us no chance. Then he got it back and pinned straight away.

Great ball movement there, got throuh the Tigers heavy defense and found Elliot out the back. That was very good play.

Thought Elliott should have gone back and taken the free there. with 30 seconds to go.

Kelly's kicking is an issue. I've seen at VFL level. Should be able to slot those.

We cost ourselves a goal to end the quarter there.

Positives - We're looking move the ball quickly, and it worked well when we saw the passage of play that led to Elliott's goal.

Negatives - Our skill level still isn't up to scratch to match it with the best teams.

News Flash - The Kelly boy is probably a behind the ball player.

We got back in it towards the end there. Maybe writing the entire season off after 5min was slightly premature. Let's see what Q2 brings!
