Packers had a field goal blocked before halftime and a punt blocked for a TD. Just stupid. They all need to give themselves a good uppercut - I swear it was almost as embarrassing as Collingwood’s 2018 choke.

My picks for tomorrow: Brady to beat Stafford and Mahomes to beat whoever.

With the Packers and Titans each shooting themselves in the foot against execrable opposition, you’d be forgiven for thinking we might have a Bucs v Chiefs Super Bowl.

Another special teams mistake - this time by the Bucs with a kick off going out of bounds.

... but the Bucs have been terrible and - barring a Brady miracle - it looks like the Rams will host the 49ers in the NFC Championship game next week. 3.56 to go and the Bucs trail by two converted TDs.

Well, 36 seconds later, Brady throws 55 yards for a TD. 27 to 19, with the point after to come.

And they make it, with 3.20 remaining. 27 to 20, Rams to get the ball, of course. The Bucs have used all their timeouts. If Stafford gets a first-down, that should be it.

A fumble and the Bucs get it at the Rams' 30 yard line, more or less!

Brady has it at about 8 and 3/4 and either a first down (just) or a 4th and inches. About 35 seconds to play.

4th down. About 3 inches for the first down.

Fornette runs it in for a TD!!!! Brady brings them back from trailing 27 to 3.

"This is officially lunacy" says Al Michaels. He's right.

They make the extra point. There is a little more time on the clock than I thought - I think they wound it back when they were reviewing the 4th and 1 a minute or two ago. 42 seconds on the clock and Stafford has 1 timeout. He's going to start at his own 25 yard line.

Al Michaels: "If they lose this game, it's self-immolation."

First down and out of bounds at the 45. Then deep down the field to the Bucs' 12. Stafford spikes it with 4 seconds on the clock. Gay can win it for the Rams with a FG.

And he does. The Rams squeak into the NFC Championship game.

Three games, three FGs as time expired.

Mahomes goes one better - walk off TD in overtime. Chiefs 42, Bills 36. Stunning game.

Brady says he’s “contemplating his future”. From what I saw today, he should definitely go around again.
