Named as the Bulldogs best player yesterday. And to think we’re paying a third of his salary to play for the opposition. I said before the season started that we’ve gifted the Bulldogs the 2021 premiership. Nothing has changed my mind at this point.

Put Treloar in Richmond colours and we lose.

Suck my fat one Kevin.

I completely agreed with your previous comment about Collingwood getting away with one but I'm just wondering about Treloar - I thought he was consistently poor chasing etc when he didn't get the ball and wasn't especially damaging when he had it - compared with, say, Ramsay - who looked like he would set up a scoring opportunity every time he got the ball in an offensive position.

I appreciate that Treloar has had 30+ in his first two games - and that's great for a young player finding his way - but at the moment he looks like a solid accumulator a la the player formerly known as Dayne Beams, rather than a genuine match-winner.

There you have it - the guy on $900,000 being unfavourably compared with Jackson Ramsay. Does that clarify my assessment of Treloar for you?

Ok, fair enough, I am not hung up on the issue.

Don’t think that I was trawling through your posts about Treloar, I wasn’t it was just that your comment from 2017 had been reproduced on another thread and I contrasted it to what you had just said in this one.

Now that this board is moderated according to Puritan law the “Suck my fat one Kevin” comment whilst succinct and straight to the point, wouldn’t be tolerated.

He could. The Bulldogs are a premiership contender.

PPie, Stef Martin & Treloar could end up being this year's version of Jolly & Ball.

If it gets to that stage, at least Ads won't have the trauma of having to play against his old side. (Remember Ball's reaction post-GF '10?)

Are you expecting them to cross to Richmond mid-season? Can that even happen?

It was badly-handled - but he wasn't bundled out of the Club because Buckley is a bad person. He was bundled out of the Club because he is a dud. It is important to try to separate the two. It was poorly-handled but it was the only viable decision (unless we could, eg, have persuaded him to take up painting, full-time).

I’m disappointed in the lies he told, not that he wanted a Treloar gone

I $$%^%%$ hate liars

The coaches both thought MacRae and English were clearly their best (9 coaches' votes each). It looks like one of the coaches gave him 3 and the other didn't give him a vote (the usual convention in that award is to list a player who gets a high vote ahead of a player who gets the same number of votes but lesser votes - eg 3:0 v 2:1).

He was nowhere near the Bulldogs best player, as stated given 3 votes by a coach.
And he’s disposal was at 50%. If he were at Collingwood he’d be getting bagged for he’s poor disposal. At Footscray he’s surrounded by A grade midfielders. Big difference

Oh yes, I remember K. I really felt for him.

Adz is having a day out with the Doggies today. Kicked a brilliant goal out of the centre. Working so hard to be available for his team mates, as well as going in and getting the ball himself.
He is part of a sublime mid-field which is helping him blossom back to his best. Great to see!!!
