Our first AFLW final win. And now we're off to Brisbane for a Prelim.

Adelaide Vs Melbourne

Brisbane Vs Collingwood

We need to hope we get up and that the Dees cause an upset too. Then we'll host the GF in Melbourne.

Great effort thought they were gone at 3qtr time. Maybe the boys can learn a thing or too about having a good lead losing it and coming back at the end.

Collingwood victorious. Tremendous comeback - all the more so because it looked for about half the game like they couldn't buy another goal - 7.8 to 7.2.

Goals: Alexander 2, Molloy 2, Stratton 1, Lambert 1, Brown 1.

Disposals: Davey 31 (and 9 tackles!), Bonnici 16 (13 kicks), Lambert 15, Livingstone 13, Sheridan 13, Norder 12 (10 kicks) and 13 hitouts, Brown 12 (although we should probably call it 11, since one of those was a great shot at goal for North, late in the second quarter), Rowe 12.

So glad I was wrong. Obviously the Pies have a bigger tank than North. Just as well, because as we all know a 14 point 3/4 time lead is akin to a 40 point lead in the men's game. So great to see how much they really wanted to win. Thought they dropped their heads a little during the third quarter.
Now for Brisbane.

I thought so too that a hill to them was a mountain at three quarter time

The coach must have pull out a good speal at three qtr time to lift them

They came out like that first ten minutes of the game

That really was a courageous victory. They did look a spent force at 3qtr time. North were running all over them pinging goals from the boundary, nothing was going right. How they managed to muster the effort to put that aside and turn the game 180 keeping them scoreless shows a strong mental capacity.

I think they can take that win and carry it on to the Lions. They can beat them. Great stuff, Ladies!
