Prefer someone with an IQ over 80. That rules Adams out _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Yeah im not a huge Adams fan either, I'm just not keen on making him captain as I think he's very replaceable/tradable (not that im saying we'll do that, but just that he is).
I'd prefer Moore. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Adams would also be a worthy choice, but Moore ticks all the boxes for me. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Adams with Moore as Vice-Captain.
Adams is the inspirational leader we need (If mark Williams is coach he would love Adams...) _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Someone who can lead both in character and win big contests when needed. Adams gets over-powered too often (contrary to perception) and lacks other-awareness (that's not to throw shade at his effort and what he does do well). Moore is ideal if the moment of maturity is right because you know he has another gear in him as a person and player. He is also very much his own person; a product of a unique home and upbringing rather than present club culture, which you'd rather avoid.
It is an indictment that there is no one else, but as a club we're completely bereft of ideas and philosophy. You need to be half mad to be a good coach, but Bucks has moderated the life out of himself and those around him. I hate having to conclude this, but I think it has been clear enough for a while now.
For all his obnoxious traits, MM brought an edge because he had a distinct concept of leadership, so at any one time you had Clement, Wakelin, Buckley, Burns, Rocca, Ball, Jolly, etc. He then combined that with an encouragement of outrageous and even troubled talent (Dids, Leon, Medhurst, Tarrant, Heater, etc.), and hard graft (Licca, Johnno, Brodes, etc.). Not enough talent overall, which was the flaw, but there was a philosophy to it which was very hard to beat in the right seasons, and was a leadership machine. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
