Nope... right now he's actually president.

There will be an EGM.. be ready..

Yes, hope so.
Korda clearly has connections with Eddie, and this is precisely what we need to purge. We have the opportunity to do so now, so I agree Wolf. This is a turning point moment.

Absolutely not the case.

OK, Fino. Glad to stand corrected. As President, I just want anyone who has no connections with Eddie.
I may have not done my due and diligent research. I did not realise that the forces pushing for an EGM were those associated with an acolyte of Eddie (Browne).
Although, i have read elsewhere in other media reports, that Eddie is happy with the selection of Korda as president
I guess the sum total of this is: I am totally ignorant and confused, and will refrain for wishing for anything specific, since I am uninformed.
However, I know that fundamentally what I wish for is that
we make sure that we select a president and a board that has absolutely no connection with Eddie.

I'm pleasantly surprised and happy with Korda so far from his few comments, he seems level headed and will do what's best for the club 'objectively' and without 'favor' - We may get an EGM but I'm happy so far if there is not.

That’s quite a change of tune since yesterday

On another topic, it’s been quite a while since I read the CFC bylaws and it may we’ll have changed since then but there is more to overturning the current president than just calling an EGM. That’s only step one

If Eddie had a modicum of self-reflection he would have disappeared from football until September.

He shouldn't even be returning calls about short or long stops, any Collingwood matter, until Rd1 2022.

These blokes will burn down the house rather than admit a failing.

If anyone is left with any doubt as to Mark Korda’s independence from Eddie, read this. He is no continuation of McGuire. The Browne/McGuire cabal need to step back and admit they have lost control of the board and the club has turned the corner.

He has done a cynical rewriting of history by attempting to wash the blood on his hands as Vice President supporting all the crap that took place regarding Treloar, Stevenson and Phillips. Those fans wanting a fresh start will devour these comments without questions. Others like me think that as is typical of Collingwood, this will be pushed under the carpet and Sargent Shultz will be appointed as the new spokesperson to say “I know nothing”.........🤬

Hmmm I think we shouldn't underestimate how much power and influence Eddie actually had at our club.

For now we should all wait and see... we can always change our minds later.
