Just curious - a question for those more in the know on VFL than I... how many BOGs are awarded each week?
By my calculations, there were 3 to Collingwood players - Henry, Wilson and Sier (McInnes may have got one also, I don't recall), and in such a close game, surely GCS would have picked up a couple also... |

Absolutely. Just don't understand why such a pointless change even happened to begin with, to be honest. |
I understand why this move was made...the word for it is desperation. But what this has proven is that Cox's inability to impact games is not Cox's fault, but it is due to our poor delivery into F50 and our sub standard ball movement. Even Tom Lynch would struggle to hit the scoreboard in our current team.

No what it's proven is the coaching staff are willing to grasp at straws because they have no actual idea what to do. Do one or the other but don't flip flop.

DeGoey has natural talent... which RDB delicately explained decades ago “comes from your father’s c ...k”. Nothing to brag about unless you use it.
RDB had very limited talent but was an absolute “champion” and Tony Shaw ditto ... and there are many more examples. Gary Ayres and Michael Tuck jump to mind. That’s what a champion does; and JDG is not one. Period.

This looks to be our regular fix for the week just had - swap browns in the hope that this one is better than the other (completely overlooking the fact that the new one was dropped 2 weeks earlier for the same reason, and two weeks before that, and two weeks before that ..)

I am happy to see Tyler in. He has not been given a proper chance yet, and I think he looks to have potential.
He needs to be given a few games on the run. He is stronger and more developed than all our young draft selections from 2020, yet for some reason is being denied a chance. i very much hope for him to be selected for this game.

100% desperation as he doesn't want to loose to Kangas - that's obvious.
I've always said Cox is not the answer in the forward line and as for poor delivery into the F50, it's because we don't have a forward line so how can you have a connection between mid and forwards.
Just for starters at Richmond:-
- They have a Riewoldt- we don't
- They have a Lynch - we don't
- They have a Dusty - we don't
- They have multiple indigenous players with speed, skill and pressure acts - we don't
- and they have more - and we don't
Show's you how far this club has diminished from being competitive. All we get from Bucks at press conferences is mid-forward disconnects and now this DNA make-up talk. It's laughable as he just spins crap after crap with talk like that and he makes us believe he knows what he is doing. He is doing NOTHING!!!
Wake up Collingwood... Ned gone is a good start. Let's see what DNA this Board/Football Department has or are they just as disconnected with reality.
ps/ Let's not get excited IF we beat the Kangas...
