I don't know about you guys, but I think Shai Bolton's mark has been totally overrated – it was good, and would absolutely be a deserving mark of the week winner most rounds, but Brody Mihocek's was in my view clearly better. To my eye, he got higher and was up for longer. Compare the two and judge for yourself:

Anyway, everyone already seems to be treating it as a foregone conclusion that Bolton will win mark of the year, let alone this week's mark of the round, but I reckon Mihocek is the one who deserves the nod. And just imagine how much angst it would cause if he won.  So I think every Collingwood supporter (and every other AFL fan sick of Richmond being overrated) has an obligation to vote for Brody through the link below, and share the link with their friends so they can do the same:

| Yep, I often think commentators’ in-the-moment remarks (and tone) heavily shape the way highlights are viewed – so it’d be all the more satisfying to buck that trend here!

Murphy trumps them both and should be mark of the year, probably won’t be though because people will be seduced by the flashy Bolton mark.

I would vote for Brody in any competition going!!!!
As I remarked elsewhere, the kick-out Bolton made at the top of the mark added to its visuals, making it look more sensational than it was. Brody's mark was just classical.

Great mark by Checkers, but freeze Bolton's mark at 1:21. He is almost standing upright when he marks the ball.
