Interesting article.
Grundy has given away the most frees in the competition and Sidebottom is sitting in 11th place. Only two players have received more frees than Grundy, and of course, Duckwood has received the most.
We are sitting in 12th place in the free kick differential ladder, at minus 3, with 157 for and 160 against.

Too many rule changes over the years and umps will miss the traditional frees that have been in the game forever because they’re focusing on the new ones. I suspect they get instructed to focus on certain frees, at certain times, and ignore others, to “open the game up for high scoring.” It feels that way some weeks |

I have a theory.
We are such poor users of the footy, every time we kick it, they pay deliberate out of bounds against us. |

Grundy was near the top of both FF and FA lists. Ruck contests all?
I still wonder about the centre-square free he gave away in the GF that killed our Q4 run (after the JdG goal?)... |
