Dunstall said Clarko MAY see out his contract next season, BUT if a club like the Magpies made the right offer, 5 yrs, big money, Clarkson would look at it very, very seriously, and probably take it sooner rather than later. The plot thickens.

After Kennett’s hissy fit about Clarko today, why would any self respecting human want to remain at Hawthorn? <snip - please keep the politics out of General Discussion. Pies4shaw for BBMods>

^ I cannot believe Hawthorn actually went ahead with a succession plan involving a legendary coach and favourite son Shocked

Did they not learn anything from our experience?

Hope it ends in tears for them.

Yeh, same thought crossed my mind, and it didnt work out any good at Essendon either, when Worsfold hung around like a bad smell, with Rutton. If your going to go, then just go, clearly the Hawks, and Kennett, want Mitchell in the chair, but are trying to do what we did, and its fraught with danger, and tears, yes. Confused Surprised

A big factor in what happens next is Graham Wright.

Do Wrighty and Clarko get on?
Do they want to work together again?
Does Wrighty reckon Clarko is the man for the job?
Will the board tell him to go out and convince him to come over?

So so true Damo.

Big decisions looming for Angry Smurf.
