The game plan is not perfect but it is reasonable sound. A little more attacking will reap rewards - just look at the matches against Melbourne and Adelaide. The problem is, and has been for years, that Buckley seemed incapable of making positional moves once the opposition coach worked out better match-ups.

How many times did we get out to a commanding lead in the first 15-20 minutes of the game only to be hauled back in over the remainder of the match? It happened too many times to count! The 2018 GF is a classic case in point! We squandered a five goal lead FFS.

All too often Buckley was simply out coached and could not respond. His defense-first attitude and style was debilitating.

I'm sincerely hoping that Harvey is able to promote a slightly more offensive style that will promote a more positive attitude among the lads on the paddock.

Notwithstanding that, I don't think that Harvey will be senior coach next season and we will be looking at a new panel altogether,
