Just watched this on the Collingwood football club website and a fantastic tribute to the man , the myth , the legend that is N Buckley.
He is a humble and caring person , far from the dictator perfectionist that seems to come up a lot on Nicks and in the media.
Collingwood has been truly blessed and honoured to have a man of this caliber in its history and his loyalty and passion is second to none ( maybe Jock McHale )
I just hope the club, supporter and member base now appreciate what he has done and the legacy he has left.
Even though it was his last step it was a great stride and a big step forward for our future.
I wish him well and all the best in his next chapter and look forward to the next Buckley’s coming through in Jett and Acye as FS picks.
No pressure on them but If they are half as good as their old man they will be very handy players. _________________ Go Pies...Premiers 2010 |

Beautifully said prince. I thought I'd shed all my tears last Monday, but seeing the embraces between each and every player and Bucks on the ground after the game, well..... back they came. |
