For those critical of Madgen, I expect him to retain the CHB spot for the remainder of the year. He'll never be a great player, but he is quite a good mark, reasonably mobile and gives his all. Furthermore, we don't have a better key defender in the ressies to take his spot.
I would drop C. Brown, but I don't expect that to occur.
Out: McCreery
In: De Goey
Pies by 5 points. |
Magden reminds me a bit of Mickey Gayfer, same dour type, remember "theres nobody safer, than mickey gayfer ", He used to cop lots of flak too, called a battler, but you do need a workhorse battler in teams, the unsung heroes, Noble is a bit like that, always gives 100%. |
Nothing like Gayfer all. he was dependable, Madgen is not. His mistakes cost goals. |
Yep. There's two categories of AFL footballers in this world. The ones who contribute goals at one end of the ground and the ones who prevent goals down the other. Ones who do neither are surplus to the requirements of AFL footy whether they are nice guys, good clubmen or fill the stat sheets with kicks and handballs. Don't know why Gayfer copped so much abuse because he belonged to that second category. |

Just saw the email from the club ... too late, no seats left other than ground.
Love the Collingwood app that warned me about the sale ... NOT!
For urgent info the club needs to SMS or alert via the app.
Just an email for something urgent is not good enough |

There were no seats being offered on Level 4 at all.
Limited on Level 2 Ponsford.
I got on exactly at 3.00pm (allocated window) and the best I could get was M31.
There were not many areas/Bays on offer. If you were getting single seats you may have had better luck. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Back in the good old days when you could hold on to your opponent all day and not get pinged. He really wore his man like a glove old micky. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Nearly forgot about the ticketing window, but managed to secure a seat.
Is the crowd limit still 25%? _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

It had to sit through an entire Vin Diesel movie first.

Good to see you last week. We’ve got N53 Olympic stand. Not sure if that’s under cover or not as I think the weather might be a bit Jimmy Clement. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

If the smae Saints script plays out, we should win this one, they had a great win last week and "normally" don't show up the next.
Pressure and tackling is a must and the Saints can crumble under pressure.
Degoey is back, that would push Crisp back in D50
Maybe bring in Will Kelly or Mcmahon for Cox?
Ginnivan for Mcreery?
Saints do play with a lot of talls though... So maybe only Degoey comes in? |
