It is sad that Holding is retiring but I think he deserves to rest. He leaves me with one of my all time BBC commentary gems with either Brian Johnson or Blowers gifting us this classic line from a Windies vs England test , “The bowler’s Holding the batsman’s Willy”😜 Happy retirement Whispering Death.

How long will the ICC take to decide the result of this series?   |

The postponed Test series decider between England and India has been rescheduled and will now be held at Edgbaston in July next year.

Oh thanks of sorts Donny for that! I stand corrected like thousands of others must have been. I was pretty certain that he said it so there you go.
I wonder if the famous sledging between Merve and Viv was also a made up joke? The one where Viv plays and misses 3 deliveries prompting Merve to sarcastically say “It’s a red and round ball”. So Viv duly hits the next delivery out of the ground and quips back “you know what it looks like, go fetch it”
