To be honest, I was quite deflated at the way our season petered out.
While I think Henry, Bianco, Rantall, Macrae, Poulter, Ginnivan and Wilson all look like they will become good players for us, if I'm honest, I've got to say that none of them have made me say "wow". Whereas, I remember the first time I saw Pendles and Daisy play for us, I knew they would become absolute stars. At least we should have Nick Daicos to get us excited about next year. Other than that, it's looking like it will be a long road back from here. |

Sadly I agree RB and although I have tried to say the same thing, you have said it better. I see a hiatus in the next 3 years where we build a team up from ground level because that’s where we are. The club should respectfully consider trading those over 30 to clubs who are much closer to a flag and in return receive draft picks or trades for skilled youngsters with potential. No taking anymore shortcuts, start afresh with a list that will grow into a much better team. Anyway that is my two cents worth. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. All those young men are as the above two posts have mentioned are promising and will be good with more pre season and experience
One of them when in VFL was given wraps as the X factor player —talking about Ginnivan and he showed very small snippets of the reputation given
I wish them all a great career but the Messiah is yet to surface _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Exactly. As Pies2016 said, if Moore wasn't injured, he wouldn't be playing CHB. People can argue that Keane should get the job ahead of Madgen but doesn't mean he would be any better at it

You're reading way too much into that... just means there's only 1 defender between the oppo player and goal _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

Mods, wrap this thread up now, its pretty depressing an its now the past, stuff the Bombers, they will last only one week more than we did, the doggies will put them to the sword. Its the past now, lets forget this shitty season, and look towards better times now, a new coach, more kids, few re cycled players, young exciting Daicos, new Board members, etc, lets move on from this now, look to a new dawn, and better happier times. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Boys and girls,
How many games did Swan and Didak play in the ressies before unleashing them ?
How many games did the certain boys play in the U19's before becoming the legends they are ... re:1990
With no underage footy, no ressies.. no form or real practice..
They all wow'ed me. I didn't see any duds, and they delivered as promised.
Give them time.
Heads Up ... and shut up lol
Enjoy our handful of replays this summer !!!!!!!!!!!!
More next summer. |
