Opener, Rachael Haynes has been ruled out of Australia's series against India and will miss the upcoming Test match on the Gold Coast.
Haynes suffered a right hamstring injury during Sunday's third ODI, and was forced to leave the field during Australia's bowling innings.

Lanning won the toss and sent India in to bat.
Unsurprising, as it's o/cast and the wicket has a green tinge.

I realise it's hindsight but there's such a downside to winning the toss and sending the opposition in. We're seeing it, here.
I'm reminded of Bradman's words (variously credited to Bradman, Greg Chappel and Shane Warne): “If you win the toss, bat. If you are in doubt, think about it, then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague, then bat. In first class and Test cricket, when you win the toss, you elect to bat, 9 times out of 10"

Aussies should have battered first test matches favour the team batting first.
Really was a good day to bat yesterday too nice weather.
Surprised at the call of Lanning won the toss and now we are facing a large total by India.
1-132.
Need quick wickets and quick smart.
Need to bowl India out under 200.
Plus catch the ball.
But as said should have chosen to bat instead of bowl when won the toss. |

Tipping a drawn test as todays weathers showers and there will be delays. And then it ends sunday too. So really only have 2 days play. Weather on the weekend is fine though.
My tip: draw.
