He is rated highly amongst the VFL clubs. After Carltons ugly split from the Bullants, he was sounded out by other clubs, but remained with the Bullants.

I believe Werribee looked to him when Choco left. They of course went with Michael Barlow, who is also a chance to find himself working at an AFL club in the future.

This is a great addition. And its great to see a former player come back after spending time and developing at other clubs.

Like to get Chris Tarrant back as a forward mentor and James Clement as a back line mentor.

As far as I know Jimmy Clement is back in WA, on the Freo board, and unlikely to be available though.

As a Bullants supporter i was really pleased with him being at Preston, especially after the excruciating carlscum northern blues debacle.

Always felt that Malthouse wasnt a fan of his, and played him as a ruck when his body wasn't built for it. He did what he was asked, but the toll on his body saw injuries mount and he missed the glory of the 2010 flag.

So glad to have him back at the Pies.
