Mate he Was included in a trade so Richmond could get avoid diluting the compensation for Mabior Chol. He clearly and very early nominated Richmond as a free agent first. |
I just got "mated". The history books shall show the Tigers traded for him midst the CCJ trade.

Well thats the thing. I know someone "in the know" about a GWS player that plenty of supporters wanted not long back. He'd tell me that he'd kick 6 or 7 in the VFL and everyone would ask why the hell isnt he in the senior team? But the reality is he doesnt have it in him to chase, tackle, get dirty, or stand up in a contest. That and kicking 6 or so on the Suns and Swans VFL teams for 14 weeks isnt a tough ask. I believe they just tried to trade him to Victoria but had no takers.
Clubs and recruiters know this sort of stuff. But supporters see "6 goals" and question the selectors. Think of Jack Anthony too... gee whizz. |

With Whorethorn losing O'Brien, Brander surely would be speaking to them?
And North Melbourne too, I'd imagine, as well as us.
Most other clubs would have their KPFs locked in already?

Has anyone seen the Gomer Pyle episode where three guys are in love with the same girl, who fancies herself a singer. Two arrange recording contract auditions while the third (Gomer Pyle) arranges a job for her in a record store. She ditches Gomer Pyle for insulting her intelligence in thinking she can only work in a record store. Unfortunately she has no singing voice. She gets thrown out of the recording studio with the other two boyfriends having egg on their faces. She ends up working in the record store with Gomer Pyle her now unchallenged boyfriend. |

^ GWS fought for Brander to be included as part of their Academy when he was a junior and were over ruled. I suspect they have been into him for a while.

| There’s his obvious connection with GWS. If truth be known Brander may have been unhappy to be drafted to WCE. If you’re not happy you can’t play your best football. No point Collingwood making a play for him if his destination lies with GWS. |
