A few days ago, Nadal announced he's contracted COVID. Sad

And he may have infected the old Spanish king (who's also tested positive). Shocked They had dinner together. But how do we know it wasn't the king who infected him? Question Wink

Must be doubts about Rafa making it to the AO now.

AO organisers reportedly still in the dark about Djokovic.

Media yesterday said over 95% of male tennis players have been vaccinated.

Nadal, Shapovalov and Rublev have all tested positive to Covid recently.

2020 AO finalist, Dominic Thiem is suffering from a wrist injury and will miss the Australian Open.

Djokovic has withdrawn from the ATP Cup which is being held in Sydney next week.

So Djokovic gets a Covid vaccination exemption and is now going to come and grace the courts of RLA.

This could have all sorts of flow on ramifications. Wonder how the other vaccinated tennis players feel about that? Will unvaccinated players in other sports believe they are entitled to exemptions?

Will the unvaccinated public demand the right to entry to the tennis? How will the government rationalise their decision, while still advising the public to go and get a third vaccine! 🤔

All I can say is "GO RAFA" or Zverev or Medvedev or ABD (Anyone But Djokovic). 😀

What good fortune for Novax that he just happens to have genuine medical grounds to be given an exemption alongside his noted anti-vax stance.

Honestly, imagine having a medical condition that allows you to be the worlds best tennis player but restricts you're ability to be vaccinated.

That's an illness I want!

Sorry but the Australian public just aren't that stupid Novax and the reception that awaits you is going to be ugly and beautiful all the same.
