I have not visited the club website for a while but did today.
Couldn't help but notice a strip of multi colours that formed part of the club name on the home page. Note sure if this is a permanent thing or if it is meant to be representing or supporting the LGBQ+++++++++++ mob or something else - BUT............
I don't like it!!!

Yep they are all the LGTB colors.
I checked the sites for the other big clubs and they don't display them. Maybe we should be called Wokewood?
As an aside, Geelong's website is www.geelongcats.com.au (not xxxxFC.com.au like the others). I'd prefer ours was www.collingwoodmagoies.com.au

LBGQT doesnt bother me, because they should take it down very soon.
Im pi$$ed off that the players photos and BIOs on the official AFL site mind you are dated from the year before last.
It is my annual whinge but geez its a simple thing that a professional company should be right on top of!!!!! ....just take updated photos
and update their Bios, every fan wants updated info on their players...like
cmon CFC , who are the IT guys there...get with it!!

Who gives a shit if we have a tiny nod to the LGBTIQ+? on the website by using a rainbow ribbon?
Reminds me of the furor when Pink Floyd recently re-released one of their old albums and reimagined the light coming from a prism and people went nuts calling them woke.

I am ok with it as long as they dont play in rainbow stripes on field thats all.
Its just a token of support.
When the season starts though go back to black and white.
Its ok to promote it pre season i guess. |
