Jezza, maybe depends on whether Bangladesh played well, or NZ played badly... |

Well the bookies think it was a one off. Odds for the next test.
NZ - $1.20
Draw - $7
Tigers - $12
I'm gunna whack the $90 I picked up on them on the final day, to win again. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

^v They're a serious chance - New Zealand fields about 3 Test-standard players. |

And that's enough to be World Champions.
And easily the best performed team over all formats. Runners up at Slogathon WC. Runners up (robbed) at ODI WC...
I guess all the other sides must have at most one Test-standard player each!! For Oz, I'll nominate Pat Cummins as that one! I guess Root for England?! Who for India?? Kohli is not playing at the moment... Bumrah??? |

World Champions of nothing. They haven't been competitive in a Test against Australia for more than a decade.
Anyway, the Test against the dominating Bangladeshis is underway. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field - NZ is 0/38, in diabolical trouble with just Taylor and the tail to come. |

I think you're being overly kind to the NZer's there.
Since 1986, NZ have beaten Australia 3 times in a test match.
A 7 run victory in 2011 at Bellerive (How we went from 2/159 to be all out for 233 in the run chase still baffles me) their last test win, 11 years ago. Prior to that, it was 25 winless tests against the Aussies.
Overall it's 34 to 8 with 18 drawn games.
In NZ its' 14 - 5 - 11
In Aust it's 20 -3 - 7 _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |
