Morning, Skids. 8/103 at Stumps. The lead is 10. The game should end tomorrow (unless Leach and Mahmood put on a couple of hundred, again, of course).

Hey P4S, now that would be something to see!

I've enjoyed watching this series, hopefully the Windies can continue to improve and become one of the top test nations again.

Looking forward to seeing the highlights of the Poms second dig.

^ Lawrence's "leave" and Stokes' "leave" are masterpieces of the genre, Skids.

^ His "gentle medium pace" (the English commentator's observation, not mine) has dismantled Root, twice.

9/116. Woakes c Holder at leg slip, bowled Roach.

England's main pair at the crease. Problems now for the West Indies, you think.

All out for 120! WIndies review a not out decision on caught behind. Roach gets a 2nd wicket. He knocked them over in his first two overs today - strangely (despite Curtly Ambrose's views in the commentary box), he was left out of the attack for 50 minutes.

So, can the West Indies reach the 28 needed for victory, or will we have another ridiculous, inexcusable collapse?

In the end, the West Indies have won with just the 10 wickets in hand. Another series loss to England.

Da Slva is MOTM for his 100. Kraigg Brathwaite is Player of the Series.

Mahmood tops the English series batting averages with 52 and their bowling averages with 22.83, thereby demonstrating what we have suspected for some time - England have a team full of players who mostly lack the technique of a genuine number 11.

For the WIndies, Da Silva tops the series batting averages with 97.5 and Brathwaite averaged 85.25. Brathwaite topped the runs (for both teams) with 341. He also faced a mammoth 902 balls (Bonner was second for the WIndies, facing 563 balls) - lucky England found a way to bowl one to him that used a snorkel to take him lbw in the first innings of this game or he'd probably still be batting. Root faced 565 for England.

Mayers topped the WIndies bowling averages with his match figures of 7/31 from 27 overs, at an average of 4.42. He and Scott Boland should form their own Test team, so they can bowl a bit more often.

All up, a thoroughly enjoyable series - with an hilarious ending.

Missed the mornings play, lack of sleep had me throwing z's around well before the start.

As you said P4S, a very enjoyable series, always good to see the poms defeated. Waking up with a buldging TAB account is also a great way to start the week Smile

The Windies next assignment is 3 x ODI's in the Netherlands in May/June.
June/July they have a visit from Bangladesh with 2 tests, 3 x ODI's & 3 T 20's.
India also visit (July/August) for 3 x ODI's & 3 T 20's.

August/September they have their CPL comp before touring South Africa, leading into the T 20 World Cup in Australia.

They round out the year with tours of Sri Lanka (2 tests), Australia (2 tests) & New Zealand (3 ODI's).
