"Summary: The Magpies are as excited about their prospects as anyone in the competition as their young group continues to develop together. Daicos is unlikely to be seen at VFL level given how good his AFL debut was last week, but fellow recruits Dean and Kreuger (if they can’t break in), Jetta and Eggmolesse-Smith will be terrific inclusions. Sier was a mainstay and will be missed, while Stackelberg did well in defence last year. It will be interesting to see how suburban goalkicking gun Wetering handles the step up – he’ll get plenty of good supply.

And Tom Phillips comes out of theirs (he played tonight, also as medi-sub). That's a bit of a shame - it would have been good to see how Poulter or Bianco went against a seasoned senior footballer.
