^ This reflects pretty much what Fly said in his presser. He said that our gamestyle is now very taxing energy wise, and we need to learn how to manage our energy expenditure so that it can be sustained across 4 quarters. That means in between Plan A (maximum energy expenditure) we need Plan B ("economy gear") in order to cut a balance across 4 quarters.

This is a worry because we have heard those lines before from Bucks.

This is a good point I reckon. Through 2018/2019 we would come out and spank teams and then be able to throttle back a bit. I remember one game against port at marvel where we were up by 45 at q time, and ended up winning by 5-6 goals that some commentators called the perfect quarter. Probably the prelim against Tiges in 2018 was a bit like that too.

This was also true in 2009 and early in 2010. Glad we persisted!! You either believe in the game plan or you dont.

This is where Jeff Browne or whoever starts to call out this anti-to protect certain players and clubs, whilst trying to make it difficult for others.

Fully agree with you SH. Have said for years, we are our own worst enemies. How about standing your ground exposing the different consequences for similar actions? Nothing ventured nothing gained. Jeff Brown your time has come to fly the flag. Otherwise this type of stuff will continue to happen unabated and nothing will change as usual. Sometimes you gotta fight the AFL and punch them hard 😡 however I’m pessimistic about this happening because we become the Collingwood frightened lambs instead of the mighty magpies. We obediently worship our AFL masters🙄 Sad really ☹️

We already know Quaynor is on track to be a gun, but by geez that was a good game from him.
