Leading Run Scorer : R. Ponting

Leading Wicket Taker : S. Warne

Surprise Packet : Well I'm predicting two unlikely ones. The first one is that Ian Harvey will make double figures and the second one is that Chris Cairns shuts his stupid mouth

Just a note to all of you that my world cup surprise packets are doing the job. Harvey did make double figures and I haven't read anything about chris cairns for days.

C'mon Punter, make some runs buddy coz my wicket taking prediction of warney ain't looking healthy

Yup i posted that in the World Cup topic. Its a real pity that the events off the field are ruining the tournament. Its a disgrace that these attckas are occuring. Although a similar event happened to a West Indian cricketer in Melb a few years back i think.

I seriously doubt that the attack occured because he is a cricketer, hey maybe it did but who knows these things happen to people everyday so it shouldn't ruin the tournament! Everyone takes these risks when they go out somewhere especially nightclubs! I was just pointing this out as Fradam mentioned not having read anything about Cairns in days but here we go!

Its not just one incident

1. England having to forefit

2. NZ having to forefit

3. Warne drug scandal

4. Cairns attack

It just takes some of the gloss of the World Cup when headlines are made for activities off the field.

C'mon, JLC. Do you really enjoy being a wet blanket??

England CHOSE to forfeit.

New Zealand CHOSE to forfeit.

The Warne case has done nothing to diminish the World Cup and only strengthens the Aussies resolve.

And, finally. If you were not a Black Caps supporter, we probably wouldn't have even known about Cairns copping one in a night club! Happens all the time.

Ruining the World Cup? I don't think so.

Donny.

Well considering that on a previous tour that New Zealand were lucky not to have their team blown up, i think they made the right decision. However its a pity that the ICC is not more understanding.

Its a pity that these off field incidents are occurring
