The Blues made 273 in 49.4 overs. Mark Waugh scored 46 in 39 balls with 3 sixes, Michael Clarke hit 39 in 37 with 4 sixes and Michael remained not out on 20 from 20. Steve Waugh was run out for 70.

Cleary took 2/33 from 9.4 overs and Higgs took two wickets but copped some stick, his 4 overs costing 32.

It was exciting to watch after a very slow start! Katich played a slow but solid innings and then Steve Waugh just took the bowling attack apart and was most exciting to watch! Michael Clarke and Mark Waugh were very exciting to watch also and Slats did what he was required to do. Another highlight was that catch taken by the boy in the crowd that earned him $6000 big ones! It was a sensational catch and the look on his friends faces when they saw he had the ball in his hands was great! Assasin I take it you live in Western Australia so good luck for your team! Looks like it will be N.S.W playing against them it will be a great game!

Well done N.S.W a good win to make it into the ING final! After an overs reduced game due to rain it looked like South Australia had a bit of a chance and it was an excellent knock by Blewett 82 off 91 balls however he wasn't supported by his team mates apart from Johnson who scored 35 off 38 balls. In the end N.S.W won comfortably by 39 runs. For N.S.W Bollinger took 2/26, Bracken 2/32 and Thornely 3/32. Steve Waugh won man of the match. It will be a great final next Sunday and I look forward to watching it!

LoL that does sound like a nice headline Steph but somehow I doubt it! I can't say I really care who wins as long as Slats plays well and Langer doesn't LoL!

Sounds like fun I think if I had a choice though I would be going to the cricket but that's just because I'm not in footy mode yet! It feels like the footy just ended and it's already back ahh I'm going to miss the cricket!

Yeah mate no Christening is going to stop me from listening to the cricket. There will be a radio in the church and the reception to follow, I really don't give a damn seeing as I am being forced into going I will protest with my radio!

After 18 overs, The Blues are looking good. The Western warriors are 5/68 with Murray Goodwin on 20.

Stuart Clark has 3 wickets. Campbell hit 21 from 16 balls.

Brad haddin has 34 of them.

Earlier, WA fought back to get their total over the 200 mark. NSW need 208 to win the ING Cup.

NSW Blues won the ING Cup in a canter!

Simon Katich and Steve Waugh put on 131 in 18 overs (108 balls) to absolutely blitz the Western Warriors.

Katich opened and remained 75 n.o. from 77 balls and Waugh slammed 88 from 55! Katich hit 14 fours and 1 six and Waugh, 16 fours and 1 six.

Brad Williams took 3/55 from 7 overs.

Congratulations to NSW on a great win! Langer played crap which was good, NSW won, the only bad thing is Slats didn't get to bat! No more ING cup I am upset!
