Massive reality check,
We had huge outs, but bulldogs had several as well, and it exposes that our depth is nowhere near the necessary level of quality atm.
All started from the massacre in the midfield. We were utterly smashed there, and had no real capacity to stymie it.
Skill errors and decision making errors no doubt flowed from the tremendous pressure exerted on our team by the Bulldogs' avalanche of clearances.
Those who have questioned Grundy's value to our team should now hopefully open their eyes.
Dont agree with those who just want to blindly play all the kids.
Smashings will not in any way benefit us.
We need to scaffold the induction of the youngsters with experience and strong bodies as much as possible.
Loss of Madgen really made me sad
He has been a cog in our defence, and a solid back up when we needed him. I find the comments of those who celebrated his injury on the game thread as quite despicable.

Zero point in winning another game this season. Let’s see which of these kids can play. Personally I think we will be bottom 4 for the next 5. I don’t think crop of the 19 and 20 drafts are ANYWHERE near AFL standard aside from Henry who will be a player when he realises he can play the game.

IN hindsight, we should have thrown the kitchen sink a both Lynch and Cameron, or at least Ben Brown, but it is what it is, i guess, we never land a big fish now, really. sigh.

New coach hasn’t been at the club for one draft, hasn’t had a chance to delist players, this is the start of a rebuild, this is how it’s done. I’ve learnt one thing over these first few games, a lot of Collingwood supporters don’t have patience. |

The big gap to Anzac Day and then short gaps coupled with debilitating flu left us cold in the last quarter
The three quarter time gap wasn’t bad. . They got three gifts from the umpires, 2 the first quarter and then the touched one
Meh give the @&$!S belief watch them fall

Not better, short sighted.
If the dogs had scrapped English when he was a kid and towled up by Grundy for an old statesmen in the list, he wouldn’t have surpassed Grundy in a few short seasons.
Not saying Begg has it (far to green to tell) but no gain in playing Cox.
