Interesting. It's good to hear, especially as this is our home game. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Feels like the biggest Collingwood vs Carlton game since the days when Mick started coaching them in 2013. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Any chance of attracting the biggest ever crowd for a Coll/Scum game? _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

No crowd will ever beat the 121,000 that attended the 1970 Grand Final. _________________ Collingwood Domination. Envy of the Nation! |

Biggest H&A crowd between the two clubs is 88,181 in 2011 when we unfurled the flag. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Exactly the selection I was hoping for. Henry gets a chance to build on his confidence, and McCreery gets a break to reload for future (barring any injuries). |

Will Hoskin Elliott named at Full Forward is a good move. Seemed to play there last week with some good result. One of his best games for a long while. Can't say I've been a fan for the last couple of seasons as he just doesn't get enough touches, but this may be a way to see his best. |

Will Hoskin-Elliott is a very dangerous forward, as he is quick, has a huge leap and kicks truly.
In terms of high marking, I saw an aspect of Tyler Brown's game I hadn't seen before - his ability to leap high in packs. Admittedly, he didn't actually mark any of them, but maybe when he does, he will take his game to another level. He needs to do something to increase his confidence. So far, he has promised a lot but delivered little. Hopefully this week will see him begin to blossom as a player. Taking one or two speccies will help. |

I like we aren’t changed can’t remember the last time that happened
There one wood is winning it around the stoppages and moving it quickly to Curnow
Stop that and we are a big chance
Moore gets Curnow because he likes to get up outside 50 a bit and then Howe can be 3rd man up when he’s deep
We need to exploit there defence they leak goals
They have 1 good tall defender so we need a Cox or Cameron forward at all times to make room for checkers and Henry and Ginnivan and Elliott to flourish
I can see us using Lipinski on Cripps a bit it makes sense his got the height and strength to do it
This could be the making of our season with a win
Our losses have come against opponents who at the start of the year we would have expected to lose to
This is the game we never should expect to lose
I’ve got a gut feeling on this one and snapped up some juicy odds of $2.85 on us to win

yep biggest Carlton Collingwood match in over 12 years easy.
Should get a bigger crowd of that from Anzac day.
Looking at mid high 80k or even 90k.
this match shapes as a cracker too and who wins will have 1 better on the head to head too.
Win for Collingwood they can creep into the top 8
Win for the blues and they cement their top 4 spot
Huge this one. |

Really hope we win it. The only worry is coming back from W.A and the wet might have taken alot out of the team.
So would not surprise me if we come out a bit flat. Particularly the young players. So might be worth a few changes if we have some sore bodies. |
I dont have stats on this, but I feel like we often lose after big wins (particularly unexpected big wins)...almost like we are a bit 'flat' afterwards.
Having said that, hard to be feeling 'flat' in front of a sold -out and big hype game at the G ! |
